REDECON, seminar of the construction industry is back again

Bangalore, Feb 21: The most popular seminar known for civil engineers, architects, equipment manufacturers , material manufacturers, as a whole to construction industry REcent DEvelopment in CONstruction (REDECON ) REDECON 2012 will be held from February 22 to 24 , 2012 in Bangalore.

REDECON conference being the child of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers ACCE the national level body and conglomeration of civil engineers, constructors, builders will bring in the best speakers in the field from different parts of India, for three day seminar.

Making the announcement of the conference Ajit Sabnis Secretary –General ACCE said “ It is endeavour to serve civil engineers fraternity, with intention to serve whole lot of people associated with construction industry this seminar will attain the importance.”

Speaking on the sidelines of making announcement of the REDECON seminar addressing media, Ajit Sabnis said “ In an era where building is attached relevance and there is legacy attached it.

“Be it historical , office building or residential building .Restoration of structures, development is needed in restoration techniques, structural health monitoring systems, use of alternate materials and construction chemicals etc. has made us to look seriously on civil engineering.

“The aim of the conference is to seek and exchange sound base of theory and practice in repair and rehabilitation through theoretical and experimental studies, this conference also aims at developing and understanding standard practices for repair, rehabilitation of structures, alternate and new materials available.

ACCE being the organiser of the REDECON are calling on those whom associated with construction and civil engineers, even students to make use of the seminar, get lot of details and ideas on repair, retrofitting of structures to extend its life span for increased performance and maximizing economic returns.
